On October 3rd Andy Wilson (Dad of U9 Aaron) will be running the London Marathon on behalf of SSAFA, (Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen Families Association) The charity provides lifelong support to serving men and women and veterans from the British Armed Forces and their families and for Andy helped support his family in Aaron’s successful adoption process from the very beginning and then subsequently with his sister Ruby, a possible future player!  Aaron is supporting his Dad in running the shorter training runs from April but sensibly says he’ll do the longer ones on his bike ... great teamwork guys.

Watch out for upcoming U9 cake sales on Sundays that will share funds raised between the club and Andy’s fundraising challenge. If you would like to donate separately, get updates on progress and any useful running tips and hints from his running fraternity use the link below , but most importantly it is about sharing the amazing things that SSAFA are able to do because of the monies raised.

Hope you can offer your support in any way possible.
